A Desert Photo Diary- Joshua Tree National Park

Welcome to the wild, wild west! The other weekend, I took a short and spontaneous trip out to Joshua Tree National Park with my little sisters. I've visited the park during the winter season, but it was definitely a different experience going in sunny 80-degree weather as we had opportunities to explore the dirt trails. I thought I would go for a "wild wild west" look and added touches of "old western/cowboy-inspired" accessories. Continue to read below for more details.

(It was also incredibly windy.)

On my neck, I added the classic bandana scarf. Once it is folded and placed around the neck, gather the ends, tie the scarf and re-tie it so it will stay in place.

On my waist, I have this super cute western inspired belt. Originally, I wanted to purchase the double buckled belt that many fashionistas have been sporting, but thought it would be too trendy for myself and opted for the classic single buckled belt. The double buckled belt is still on my wish-list though.. ;)

(Do I look really tall here or what.)

For every 10 seconds of wind, I had like 2 seconds of stillness to take photos. My hand was on my hair majority of the time haha.

Found a nice road while exploring the park.
